1/16 Sd.kfz.251 Wurfrahmen Rocket Conversion Kit

This is a Conversion 1/16 kit for Des Werk and/or Trumpeter Sdkf 251D kits (not included, assembly and painting required)
Highly detailed parts, wood grain, The Wurfrahmen mounting (for the Sdkf 251 C/D and other vehicles) consisted of six metal frames each equipped with an elevation swiveling plate that provided resting forks for the wooden crate that housed either a 28cm high explosive or 32cm flammable rocket. Various construction methods were utilized including square tube and/or round pipe. Three (3) configurations of the front tie-bar was utilized ( (A) bend to the rear to clear the machine gun splash guard, (B) bend to the front to allow the side vision port better visibility on the Sdkf 251-C, or (C) very simplified installation found on later Sdkf 251-D) This is a “universal” conversion kit that will accommodate various 1/16 Sdkf 251 models including DW, Squadron-Trumpeter and other kits. Some trimming and fitting is required on the front and rear tie-bars as each of the above kits vary in final dimension.
